The work
behind the work.

For care-service managers, recruitment, training, probation and reviews are connected work. Operations is being developed to keep the person, the requirement, the next action and the evidence together.

Connected management workspace

Know what needs doing.
Know why.
Know what happened.

  • Requirements become actions.
  • Actions get owners and dates.
  • Completion leaves evidence.
  • History stays attached.

Records, requirements, responsibility, due work, outcomes and history belong together. Operations links them so a manager can answer five questions about any piece of work.

  1. What needs attention?
  2. Why does it need doing?
  3. Who is responsible?
  4. What happens next?
  5. What records the outcome?
  1. Work and planning

See what is due today, who owns it and what still needs arranging.

  2. Staff lifecycle

Recruitment, training, probation and ongoing records followed as one journey, without automating employment decisions.

  3. Training requirements

See what is due, what was completed and what needs arranging next, with earlier completions retained.

  4. Reviews and observations

Recurring oversight planned ahead, with previous reviews and outcomes kept in view.

  5. Absence and follow-up

Operational follow-up, such as return-to-work steps, kept visible rather than simply noting an absence.

  6. Cases and evidence

Actions connected to their reason, supporting documents and recorded outcome for management oversight.

The workflow

Three everyday journeys, one connected record.

A renewal falls due.

An earlier completion is approaching its renewal point, so the requirement shows up before it becomes urgent.

Labels are invented; no real people, services or records are shown.

The problem it solves

Managing a service means hundreds of small requirements become someone’s responsibility.

Operations is being built to make the next action clearer while keeping the source record, decision and evidence connected.

Less rebuilding the story from email, spreadsheets and memory.

Staff lifecycle

One journey instead of separate checklists.

Recruitment, safer recruitment, training and probation as one connected journey—from the first application to ongoing compliance.

The management platform

People, services and the work between them.

Each area connects back to the same people, services and records—so a request, an absence or a review never has to be rebuilt from memory.

Keep the process clear when the situation is not.

Attendance, health or change concerns, absence, return to work, employment review and investigation—each with clear stages and the human decision points marked.

Some formal HR stages, including disciplinary and appeal, are still in development and testing.

Form Builder

Build the form around the work.

Create the form around the process, publish the right version and keep the completed evidence attached to the work. Versions, signatures and templates where supported.

Planned development

AI and integrations, with a person in charge.

The intended direction is assistance that reduces duplication and explains the record—never a replacement for human review.

  • AI-assisted drafting

Help preparing first drafts, always reviewed by a person.

  • Explanations & summaries

Plain summaries of what a record or history shows.

  • Document help

Help finding and understanding the relevant guidance.

  • Permission-aware

Assistance that respects what each person is allowed to see.

  • Microsoft & document integrations

Working with the document tools teams already use.

  • Less duplication

Fewer places to type the same thing twice.

Planned development. Not currently live. Human review remains required for anything AI-assisted.

What it is for

The manager’s day, connected.

What the connected workspace is being developed to make easier for the people running a service. No measured savings or guaranteed outcomes are claimed.

  1. Start with the work

See what needs attention, what is due and what still needs arranging. Follow the action back to the record that explains it.

  2. Keep the journey connected

Recruitment checks, training and probation are stages in a person’s journey—not separate piles of administration.

  3. Keep the next cycle and the last record

See a completed training record alongside the next renewal. Arranging new work should not mean losing sight of what happened before.

  4. Make the handover easier to follow

An authorised manager should be able to see where work stands, what the next action is and which record supports it.

Built from actually doing the work.

Why it exists

Operations has been shaped by the practical demands of managing a care service: getting people ready, arranging training, following up reviews and keeping a usable record of what happened.

It is a management workspace. It is not a care-delivery app, a visit scheduler or a replacement for clinical systems, and it does not make employment decisions for you.

The software supports management oversight and evidence organisation; it does not determine compliance or replace professional judgement. No regulatory approval, certification or endorsement is claimed.

Where it stands

In private development, and honest about it.

Operations is in private development. These workflow illustrations use fictional examples to explain the current project; the interface is being refined. It is not currently available to purchase.

Today

  • The workflows on this page are illustrations based on the current project, not a live system or demo account.
  • A redesign of the interface is planned and not yet complete.
  • Future commercialisation remains exploratory; no customer availability or commercial terms are confirmed.
